The dynamicTAO Reflective ORB

dynamicTAO was developed at the University of Illinois from 1998 to 2000. It is still used in a few projects (such as here and here ) on Solaris and Linux but we are no longer developing and maintaining it. In particular, the Windows version has some build problems (we need a volunteer to fix it, would you?).

In 2000, the dynamicTAO ideas were reimplemented in LegORB and, in 2001, in UIC-CORBA, a 3rd generation reflective ORB for machines with limited resources (see below). In addition, it seems that some of the innovations of reflective ORBs are now being incorporated into a few commercial ORBs.
